The School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University ofLondon,
invites applications to be put forward for PhD Studentships,commencing September
2013. We welcome
applications in the followingareas:Equality and diversity - working

(CGR)Business history - working with The Centre for Management
andOrganisational History (CMoH)MarketingPublic

Candidates must specify which research
group they wish to join ontheir application form.
The AwardQueen
Mary Studentships are open to suitably qualified candidates fromthe UK, EU
and overseas. The Studentship consists of the full cost of(home or overseas)
fees and 15,590 a year for maintenance for 3 yearsfor London-based
students. Award holders will be expected to undertakesome departmental
duties through the course of their PhD as acondition of the
award.
Candidate ProfileThe School of Business and Management is
committed to appointing onlythe very best candidates to its PhD programme.
To apply you shouldhave a good first degree (BA or BSc Honours or
equivalent), at uppersecond class or equivalent with evidence of some 1st
class work,and/or a Masters qualification (at Merit or above with evidence
ofsome Distinction level work) in a cognate discipline related to
thestudentship. All applicants will be judged according to the
samecriteria, namely: record of academic and/or professional
achievement;quality of their research proposal; and compatibility with the
themeof the studentship.
